The Lansing boys soccer team squeaked past Trumansburg 1–0 in the Section IV Class C tournament championship on Oct. 29 at Tompkins Cortland Community College.
Lansing head coach Benji Parkes said he was proud of how the squad battled throughout the tournament.
“We had some good games throughout our run in sectionals,” Parkes said. “I think they made us that much better, just to hang in there and get that early goal. It really helped us, but it’s a big team effort today, which is awesome.”
